F.A.Q.
We’ve tried to anticipate some questions that you may have.
Completion of the intake documents prior to your first visit will allow us to review your child’s information and prepare for the initial assessment.
The therapist will arrive at your home or virtually and go over history and concerns with parent/s as needed. Interaction with child will be child-led play while the therapist gets to know the child. If a standardized assessment is needed, this will occur at the first session. Most fine and gross motor assessment look similar to activities your child would participate in regularly at home, school, daycare, etc.
For each 1 hour session there is 50 minutes of face to face therapy and 10 minutes for documentation.
Following each session you will receive notes and recommendations. If the session was an assessment, and a full report is desired, this will be provided approximately 2 weeks following.
